Police have arrested a man they believe who was involved in a series of crimes to agricultural land in Keaau.

Police have arrested a man they believe who was involved in a series of crimes to agricultural land in Keaau.

Dyson Dale Sarme-Maedeiros, 23, of Mountain View, is charged with nine different counts after an investigation that involved community policing officers, farmers, land owners and Neighborhood Watch groups, police wrote in a press release.

Sarme-Medeiros was arrested on Wednesday morning and charged Thursday with two counts of burglary, two counts of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, three counts of theft and one count each of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle and criminal property damage.

His bail was set at $14,500.
